My Profile on fanfiction.net - While working on “What’s Left Unsaid” I also started to write and submit stories on a fan fiction site for one of my favorite authors, Janet Evanovich. Music often inspires me to write or gets me in whatever mood I need to be in when writing. Here are some of my faves!

Least Complicated - This has always been one of my favorite Indigo Girls songs. Although it didn’t necessarily inspire me to write “What’s Left Unsaid,” I just realized that the lyrics and story fit pretty well with it. While searching for the song, I ran across an AMV (Anime Music Video) interpretation that uses clips from 5 Centimeters Per Second, a Japanese animated feature film by Makoto Shinkai. The AMV was done by YouTube user Ruisdaelhopper. The ‘story’ from this feature film also has similarities to my story as you can see in this video. Hope you like it!

Dashboard Confessional is another favorite band of mine. Both the songs ‘Stolen’ and ‘Don’t Wait’ helped put me in the mind of my male lead, and also seem to fit the concept of the story.
