Updates!

I’ve been getting a lot of messages and emails asking about the status of my romantic suspense manuscript. Underground is in the process of its final, final edit. It will be published on Smashwords in July. No exact publish date, but I will post here when I have one.

What’s Left Unsaid, my women’s fic/contemporary romance, is scheduled to be released at the same site in August. Again, check back here for a specific date and links.

And I just posted an excerpt for one of my current WIPs, an untitled erotica novella. VERY different than my usual stuff. It can be found by either clicking the ‘Book Excerpts’ tab above, or the ‘Erotica Novella’ tab above. My Webmaster got a little overzealous!

Wow the excerpt looks good I think I will want to read the rest. Afraid i will always see Underground as R/S

      CS~

Glad you enjoyed the excerpt! I think anyone who knew Underground in its first incarnation will see it the way you do. And that’s perfectly fine with me–you won’t have to squint too hard to read it that way. ;)

Read the excerpt from your novella, and I’m so intrigued! Seems like you’re doing a great job of digging into the mindframe of that world and I can’t wait to see how you explore it.

Yay! Lol, thanks for saying I’m doing a good job of digging into that mindframe of that world … I’m SO out of my element! This is one of those things where I have to ‘listen’ to my nutty muse and just follow her blindly.

      Thanks for the feedback!

I loved with Underground and I look for the new book when it is sold. I can find the Erotica Novella when I can get it. I am 65 and love reading. I had a stroke in February and can’t sometimes make my writing say what I to do it. I know that you are a powerful and talent writer and make a wonderful success.

    1. magdalync says:

      Geanetta,

Thank you so much for your kind words. I’ll be sure to let you know when Underground is available on Smashwords and I’ll also keep everyone posted on the status of the erotica novella. Your support means so much! :)

Wow, I’m a little bummed that Underground is gone and changing, but at the same time, I can’t wait to read it as an original story. Read your Erotica novella exerpt and I’m intrigued. I can’t wait to see where you take it from there. Thanks for sharing, babe!

    1. magdalync says:

      Jaime,

I have had a few people read both versions. The consensus is … they like the new version more! I suppose it could have something to do with the added ‘hero’ POV…

I’m actually working on the erotica novella today. I never know which muse will be inspired which day, but I gotta listen to her when she talks!

      Thanks for the support, babe!

I loved all the excerpt and can’t wait for each book! Now the questions! Is The Boy Next Door and Underground the same book? I couldn’t find an excerpt titled Underground. Also, is Smashwords books only availble in ebooks? If so, I may have to invest in an e-reader just to read it!

Looking forward to the books! Keep up the good work!

      Susan~

Excellent questions! No, Underground and Boy Next Door are two different books. There are no excerpts for Underground on my site, but I can rectify that in the next 24 hours or so.

Underground is a completed ‘romantic suspense’ and is the one that will be available first on Smashwords. The second book to be available on Smashwords will be What’s Left Unsaid. That’s a contemporary/women’s fiction-y type book. Romantic, more serious tone, although there are bits of humor. It’s a ‘second chance at love’ story.

Boy Next Door is still being written. It’s … sexy romantic comedy.

Most people purchase books from Smashwords in the form of e-books, so yes, most upload to their Kindle/Sony e-reader/Nook, etc. BUT, you supposedly CAN upload it to a format that you read on your computer if you don’t own an e-reader. BUT … I think you’d enjoy owning an e-reader. Never have to leave your house to shop for books, they’re ‘delivered’ almost instantly (no delivery fee!) … and they tend to be cheaper than print books.

      Hope that helps!
